Americans and Flu Shots – What Do They Really Think?
Looks like there may be hope. This latest poll reports that the majority of Americans will not get the Swine flu shot. For the other 1/3rd that think its a good idea, let’s see how the media handles side effects that occur (and they will occur).
Poll: Americans iffy on pandemic flu shot
Americans are uncertain about getting the pandemic H1N1 vaccine, according to a poll conducted in early September by the ConsumerReports Health Ratings Center. Only 34% said they would definitely get the vaccine when it’s available, while 21% said they would decline. Forty-three percent said they will wait and see what happens with flu developments. The nation survey of 1,502 adults found that 35% will have their children vaccinated, 50% are unsure, and 14% will not. [Consumer Reports poll results]
